Company

Built because month-end should be spent advising clients, not re-keying their bills.

Lakshmitva

From Lakshmi, associated with prosperity and its careful keeping. A fitting name for software that looks after the books.

We kept seeing the same thing in practices across India: qualified partners spending the last ten days of every month reading purchase invoices, chasing bank statements and comparing GSTR-2B line by line.

None of that work needed their qualification. All of it needed to be right. And because it grew in a straight line with every new client, it quietly decided how large a firm could become.

Lakshmitva was started to take that line away. The engine reads what clients send, prepares the entries the way each client is already coded, reconciles them, and puts the exceptions in front of a person early enough to act.

What it does not do matters just as much. It does not decide, advise or file. The practice remains the professional in the room, with better information and more of the month left to use it.

Principles

Three rules the product is held to

  1. 01

    The CA approves, always.

Every feature ends in a review step. The software can propose, reconcile and draft, but a person with professional responsibility makes the call. If a feature would blur that line, we do not build it.

  2. 02

Flag early, not on deadline day.

A mismatch found on the 5th is a phone call to a supplier. The same mismatch found on the 19th is lost credit or a late return. The engine is designed to surface problems the moment the data exists.

  3. 03

Growth should not require proportional hiring.

A firm should be able to take on its next twenty clients without first finding five more people to type their invoices. Volume belongs to the software; judgment belongs to the team.

Lines we hold

Things Lakshmitva will not do

A short list, written down so it stays true as the product grows.

  • Silently correct a figure to make a reconciliation agree
  • Train one client’s patterns on another client’s data
  • Contact your clients without your firm approving the message
  • Present preparation as advice

Review slip · awaiting approval

Your client list, prepared and waiting for one signature.

Bring a month of real documents from two or three clients. We will run them through the engine with you and show you the review queue they produce.
